Ira Allen Chapel
This is the Ira Allen Chapel on the grounds of The University of Vermont in Burlington. The chapel is the iconic symbol of the school, and Ira Allen is an iconic figure to Vermont while the nation is more familiar with his furniture namesake brother Ethan Allen. Both men were flamboyant patriots, members of the Green Mountain Boys, and founders of the great state of Vermont.
