Not All Patients Go On Stretchers
Not all patients go on stretchers.
The littlest ones, newborns and preemies, are transported via specially designed isolette transports like this one. The patient is secured within the box ontop while the controls below maintain both environmental conditions and medications. This is a very complex, and expensive, piece of machinery.
Due to the critical nature of these types of transports, only the most dedicated and capable professionals are selected for these transport teams.
